Hello! It's me.

I'm writing this blog in the hopes it will act as an outlet for my ideas, thoughts, excitement and knowledge of photography, teaching and just general stuff that I happen to love. I am an expressive person and have been yearning for an appropriate outlet where I can share what I am up to and what I come across online and in the world. My poor Facebook friends and family have endured my impulsive posts spamming and filling their news feeds for 7 years (or something ridiculous)…so here we are. 

I've just become a Mum for the second time so I'm currently out of teaching practice, which is a bummer. Well, that doesn't sound right…it's not a bummer that I have become a Mum again but rather it's a bummer that I'm out of practice with this teaching carry on. I am ALWAYS pinning teaching ideas on Pinterest, that must be counted as professional development, right? Feel free to follow me if you're that way inclined. I have a bunch of other boards that aren't teaching related too, so browse away! Just give me a little while to figure out this blogging thing and I'll have a link button or something on the page to the left or right for you to click on!

I'm optimistic this blog will eventually contain examples of my own teaching work that's been put into practice in MY OWN CLASSROOM. I'd love to share plans, tips and tricks. However, since I have two little children I'm hesitant to dive into the deep end when it comes to teaching…I know all too well that these 'little' moments of raising children go by far too fast, they're irreplaceable and ultimately they come first. I'm going to dip my toes into teaching part-time over the next couple of years whilst my smallest little dot grows, so fingers crossed I can share some of the things I learn along the way with you. 

I enjoy photography so you can definitely expect posts about things I photograph and the presets I use in Lightroom. I may even share how I edit my photos, and would love feedback and feed forward as I am no professional in this field. Photography is my long-term hobby and something I have been developing my skills in for a number of years now. I adore browsing other photographers work and gain inspiration from their snaps on a daily basis. 

I'm really into crochet, that doesn't mean I'm very good at it though. However I will probably share some of my crochet achievements(or failures), and where I found the patterns too!Yay!I have a few projects on the go currently, but unfortunately I developed carpal tunnel in my right hand and wrist which put me out of action. It still flares up from time to time, so I guess I am just keeping an eye on it for now…Watch this space!

I'm hoping to share some of what my kiddies and I get up to, that's a great way to combine many of my interests into one!

So without further a due, prepare for the onslaught of impulsive, eclectic and hopefully…inspiring posts.
